Employee Engagement

Employee Engagement Survey

How do you view employee engagement – As a satisfaction survey or as a business strategy? The former produces a number. The latter produces results. Engagement Surveys are utilised by organisations to identify trends within the organisation which positively affect the level of employee engagement & satisfaction. Engagement leads to improved employee retention and higher productivity levels.

Engagement Survey results should indicate areas in which the organisation is performing well, and areas in which the organisation can make the greatest gains / improvements. This ultimately enables the organisation to develop a great Employee Value Proposition (EVP), based on the specific demographics and actual needs of the organisations workforce. The Gallup meta-analysis shows that:

Other studies show that organisations with cultures that align closely to their mission are more successful.
